Objective
SmartCare needed a scalable system that could bring order to the complexity of managing thousands of assets across facilities. Each device in their network required accurate tracking, configuration, and visibility—but existing tools were fragmented, inconsistent, and difficult to maintain. They needed one centralized location where teams could manage devices with confidence and ensure clean data.
The goal was to create an intuitive dashboard experience that allowed users to search, edit, configure, and monitor assets—all from a single, easy-to-navigate platform. Just as important, it had to support SmartCare’s internal workflows while being flexible enough to accommodate future integrations, data fields, and device types.
Process
Working closely with stakeholders across departments, we defined a streamlined set of actions that could support a wide variety of use cases: updating device status, managing field values in bulk, and surfacing essential information quickly through filters and search.
Our design and engineering teams collaborated in tandem to develop a modular, scalable architecture. We built flexible data models and prioritized configurability, allowing the system to adapt as SmartCare’s asset types and operational needs evolved. Throughout, we validated workflows with real users to ensure the interface stayed aligned with daily tasks—not just system logic.
Outcome
The result is a robust, user-friendly Asset Manager that brings together data from across the organization into one clean, centralized hub. Users can quickly locate any asset, make changes in real time, and view the full lifecycle history of a device—all while maintaining data accuracy and operational continuity. What used to take multiple tools and spreadsheets can now be done in just a few clicks.
Since launch, SmartCare has seen a significant improvement in asset visibility, internal workflow efficiency, and data consistency. The platform is already serving as a foundation for broader operational improvements, with teams relying on it daily to manage devices, track issues, and make smarter decisions faster.
